So I'm not what you'd call 'new' to conventions at all, although I am quite a bit rusty. Years back I went to more than a few anime conventions large and small...hit up things like DragonCon a time or two. Money has been tight though and its been awhile since I've managed one, aside from a Doctor Who convention I managed earlier this year. It was my first convention for just one general fandom versus a grab bag selection but...it was fun, and pretty much went the way I thought it would. I've been getting a little more into the Supernatural fandom recently though and the actors seem like alot of fun, I'm having a great time watching videos of their panels and the like and decided to do a little digging about any possible conventions. I have to say I was....surprised.

Maybe because its for a show based in the US for some reason, or is this just the direction conventions are starting to take? ( I'd love some input from those of you with more experience... )

Considering I am a Sam!girl flickums has managed to get me to change my desktop pic to something that neither features Jared/Sam or Misha/Castiel. I know!

A few weeks ago Greg told me he was thinking of proposing to Amanda on the ten year anniversary of their relationship. He was asking for advice on rings etc. I am not normally a romantic person (unless it's my OTP on screen. LOL) but I was quite excited about this for some reason. I've never seen an engagement from the man's side before so it was quite sweet seeing him get all nervous and freaked out about the whole thing. Anyway, he came into work on Friday with a ring to show. It was lovely.

Just had a text saying he proposed yesterday and she said yes. D'aww!!! I have demanded full details when he gets back to work on Wednesday.

In less happy news I am having VLC issues. Every time I try to use 'E' to move forward a frame the whole programme freezes on me and the only way to close it down is to reboot my computer. It's happened several times now and considering I only started using it on Friday this is not good. Yes, I have the most recent version.

Do we have any canon info on how big the radius for Neal's GPS is? 2 miles?

June's place is in it at 87 Riverside, I remember that from the pilot, and that was 1.6 miles away from the shady hotel.
